Gamrie Gardens honesty shop reopening early as a spring nursery

We’re excited to share that the Gamrie Gardens honesty shop will be reopening a month early this year.

From April, the space will open first as a small greenhouse nursery and garden honesty shop, with seeds, seedlings, and useful garden supplies available for people to trade for or take on a donation basis. The idea is to offer a simple, flexible, community-minded space where people can pick up things to help them get growing and working in their own gardens.

Then from May, we’ll begin adding produce from our volunteer-led market garden, while keeping the space self-serve and donation-based.

This little honesty shop has always been about trust, access, and sharing what the gardens can offer in a simple and welcoming way. We’re looking forward to opening it up again for the season, and to seeing it gradually fill with more life, plants, and produce as spring unfolds.
